Returned Toe Kick

If your base cabinet run does NOT end at a wall, then the desired method is toe kick flush with end panel. Use a Dishwasher End Panel, and run the toe kick flush to the panel (see diagram above left).

This method is the easiest, and also gives a superior looking finish to your cabinets.

If you instead wish to return the toe kick (no end panel), then you must move the last two sets of legs BEFORE you install the final base cabinet. Move the front leg cup inward the same distance it is located from the front of the cabinet. Do the same for the rear leg cup. (See diagram above right). This will allow you to return the toe kick, and have it recessed on the side the same amount it is recessed on the front.

FINISHING TOUCHES
Once all cabinets are installed, you may install the finishing touches, such as toe kicks, crown mouldings and light valances. To install refrigerator and dishwasher end panels, use angle brackets (not supplied).
